Plate 4 is entitled Particularia, particulars, the parts of a whole. Under the image, Via Vinuersalis Particularibus Inclusis, “the universal path includes the particulars [all the parts]”. The King’s banner Coagula Masculinum [Male Clots] refers to Coagula. The Queen’s banner Lac Virginium [Virgin Milk] refers to Solve (dissolve or separate). The Suns in the sky have wavy rays, like the first Sun on the Arma Artis plate. One Sun, above the Queen, is silver; the other Sun, above the King, is gold. The Queen, dressed mostly in blue, still wears some red. And the King, dressed mostly in red, still wears some blue. Though they are separated, they still are part of each other. The King, the Queen, and the Sun are a Trinity, Binah.
(The scenes depicted below the King and Queen are battles. Achilles and Hector (The Illiad), Alexander the Great and the Basilisk, and Alexander the Great and Diogenes. Mythcrafts provides an intriguing explanation here.
