A Lullian Meditation
The Dolman Arch’s cosmogony “starts”, for lack of a better word, with Awen. Awen is reflected in Annwn, Annwn being infinite nothing. The reflection of Awen in Annwn is Nwyfre. Annwn’s infinity is reflected as Gwyar (potential movement); Annwn’s nothing is reflected as Calas (potential space/substance).
Awen is Unity.
Awen and Annwn are a duality, a Polarity.
Awen, Annwn, and Nwyfre are a trinity, a Balance.
Nwyfre makes (and is made of) Gwyar and Calas, latent movement and latent substance. Involving toward manifestation, latent becomes actual and space moves. And here begins the cosmogony of the Cosmic Doctrine.
Nwyfre, a reflection of Awen, corresponds to Unity, but on a different plane. As Nwyfre (made of Gwyar and Calas) moves, it encounters resistance and curves, eventually forming the Ring Cosmos. The movement of the Ring Cosmos creates the Ring Chaos. Ring Cosmos and Ring Chaos are opposites: Ring Cosmos pushes to the Center; Ring Chaos pulls to the Unmanifest. Ring Cosmos and Ring Chaos are a Polarity.
Ring Chaos induces a secondary spin in Ring Cosmos, which produces the Ring Pass Not. These three Rings form a trinity, which are in Balance.
The Ring Pass Not is the Prime Limitation, the boundary of our Cosmos. This limitation, this discrimination, this discernment is a focus of consciousness which is the Causation of involution.
Within the Ring Pass Not, the force of Ring Cosmos pulls to the Center and the force of Ring Chaos pulls toward the Circumference. (Force being “moving space”.) Secondary movements form as a result of these influences, being pulled from the Center toward the Circumference and then being pulled back from the Circumference to the Center. And then following that trajectory to the other side of the Center and then to the Circumference, and then back again. This back-and-forth Vibration creates the Rays and the Circles.
The intersection of Rays and Circles create tangential forces. Just as Ring Cosmos and Ring Chaos created the Ring Pass Not and formed a stable trinity, the forces created by the intersection of the Rays and Circles lock into a stable vortex, creating a Prime Atom, a form Corresponding to the forces of the Cosmos, but on another Plane.
The Prime Atoms travel along the Rays, passing through each Circle, slowly Circling around the Center of the Cosmos. Some of the Prime Atoms, after completing their circuit, burst through the Ring Pass Not into the Unmanifest, becoming the Logos of their own Cosmos.
The Seven Laws of the Dolman Arch have different names than the Laws of the Cosmic Doctrine, but align well to the Cosmic Doctrine cosmogony.
The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of the Attraction of the Center states “When a form of life has attained its utmost complexity in material organization, unification begins… Note the difference between unification and simplification… Unification is achieved by evolution and simplification is achieved by devolution. Unification is the final synthesis—simplification is the ultimate analysis or return to type.” [emphasis added] The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of the Attraction of the Center aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Unity.
The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Action and Reaction states “Action and reaction are equal and opposite.”[emphasis added] The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Action and Reaction aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Polarity.
The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of the Attraction of Outer Space states “It is ever the aim of “will” to function unconditioned, just as it is ever the tendency of “form” to condition the unmanifest; and the “will-to-live” of the Logos, always entering upon the condition form, which, as it were, it pushes ahead of itself down the planes, is ‘irked’ by form; but in the later phases of the Logoidal life unconditioned will is impossible, all action being determined by pre-existing conditions, and the will-to life of the Logos, which is the life of the manifested universe, has to submit to conditions and be bound in form… Freedom is attained not by escape from limitations and conditions buy by adjusting the balance to a perfect equilibrium.” [emphasis added] The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of the Attraction of Outer Space aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Balance.
The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Limitation is the “focus of consciousness” and is the first law of manifestation. The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Limitation aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Causation.
The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Polarity is based on the Laws of Attraction of the Centre and of the Circumference and states “The attraction towards the center gives the negative, and the attraction toward the circumference the positive aspect, and it is these two in polarity that produce the circulation of force.” The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Polarity aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Vibration.
The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Impactation describes the “transmission of action from one plane to another”. The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of Impactation aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Correspondence. The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of the Seven Deaths states “The ladder from the Personality to the Individuality has seven rungs, and these rungs are the “Seven Deaths,” for it is the Law of Limitation that brings to birth, but it is the Law of Death that brings to life”, “life” being a return to the center by evolution. The Cosmic Doctrine’s Law of the Seven Deaths aligns with the Dolman Arch’s Law of Circularity.
