The Book of Lambspring – Figure 15

published 1556

published 1607

published 1893

Here Father and Son are joined in One,
so to remain for ever.

The 1556 Figure has the Guide seated on the central throne.  The Prince and King sit in separate thrones on either side of the Guide.  The drapery is blue.

The 1607 version is similar to the 1893 version, with all three on one throne, with a red drapery hanging behind them.

The 1893 version has all three seated on one throne, with a drapery hanging behind them, reminiscent of The Priestess Tarot card.

The “new Son” is the purified Soul.  The Father and Son triumph “gloriously”; they have acquired “the glory of the whole world” (The Emerald Tablet).  The Glory, the Splendour, the aura is the reflected light of the Divine.
